WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Truliant FCU is planning a significant move into the Charlotte, N.C. market, where it is seeking to open 10 branch offices by the end of 2015.

LYNCHBURG, Va.—Teresa Wieringo Humphries, a former teller at the now-defunct Lynrocten Federal Credit Union who was involved in a scheme that cost the CU more than $12 million, has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison. Humphries pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement.
