ORLANDO, Fla.–Approximately 10% of credit union CEOs are expected to retire over the next two years, with reverberations that will be felt across CU management chains, according to one person, who said the trendline puts additional pressure on compensation plans.

ALBANY, N.Y. – In what this state’s credit unions are calling a “major victory,” the New York State Assembly has passed a bill allowing credit unions access to the state Banking Development Districts Program for the first time, allowing CUs to receive up to $10 million in subsidized public deposits and other benefits.

WASHINGTON—As the Senate begins debate on its version of the fiscal year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), NAFCU is pushing the Upper House to delete language in section 2821 that would give banks the same access to leases on military bases that credit unions currently have. The House has already deleted similar language from its version of the NDAA.
