Worcester Credit Union Names New President/CEO

WORCESTER, Mass.– Worcester Credit Union has named a new president and CEO. The credit union has selected Lisa Perrin to succeed long-term President/CEO Karen Duffy, who will be retiring on August 31 after leading the organization for 25 years.

Perrin has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, most recently as senior VP-retail banking and mortgage lending at Leominster Credit Union. Perrin also has 13 years’ experience working in various in branch locations in Worcester area.

“She is a strategic and innovative leader with a solid understanding of community bank and credit union operations, policies, and regulations,” said O’Rourke & Associates, which handled the search.

Perrin has also served as board member at the St. Vincent Hospital Research Fund, is a member for the Worcester Chamber of Commerce, and continually supports her hometown community as well as the Worcester community by volunteering for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.

The $82-million credit union has approximately 7,100 members.
