TORONTO-Canada’s credit unions have launched a national campaign called “My Credit Union Matters” in support of a proposed Capital Growth Tax Credit for CUs.

 

LONDON—The U.K’s Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML), which represents institutions holding approximately 95% of the assets of the U.K. mortgage market, has offered a response to a consultation paper released by Her Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) on credit unions and mortgage lending.

NASSAU, Bahamas—A sector stability report from the Central Bank of the Bahamas has found that the credit union delinquency ratio ended 2013 some two percentage points higher than international benchmarks.

LONDON—The U.K.’s credit unions have joined with a political party in a plan to triple membership to three-million people over the next 10 years.
