DUBLIN, Ireland–A new survey by the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) has found the money needed to get youngsters ready for the new term in August and September has soared since 2012.

ARLINGTON, Va.– Federally insured, state-chartered credit unions face a unique burden of facing both state and federal exams, but that burden can be mitigated when state and federal regulators improve efficiencies, conserve resources and coordinate and harmonize where possible, NASCUS has told NCUA in a comment letter on the agency’s “Exam Flexibility Initiative.”

WASHINGTON–At the same time data is showing a surge in home buying nationally, another development that seems counterintuitive can be seen in different data—home ownership rates are at their lowest levels in 51 years.

WASHINGTON—Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Mel Watt said Monday that his agency will not add a language-preference question to its Uniform Residential Loan Application now but will take other steps to determine how best to gather such data, NAFCU reported.
