ORCUTT, Calif.–The suspect in the robbery of a credit union has been shot and killed by police. Police said that Robert Earl Adams, 30, was identified as the suspect in the robbery and was shot by a sheriff’s deputy after being confronted. He was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.

WASHINGTON–The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has taken action against two American Express banking subsidiaries for discriminating against consumers in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories by providing them with credit and charge card terms that were inferior to those available in the 50 states.
