WASHINGTON--The Defense Credit Union Council recently sent a letter to Senate Banking Committee Chairmen Tim Scott and Ranking Member Elizabeth Warren, and House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill and Ranking Member Maxine Waters urging congressional action to prevent lasting credit damage to servicemembers, Coast Guard personnel, and federal employees during government shutdowns.
