HERNDON, Va. – Each October, Northwest Federal Credit Union and Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation host “NWFCU Pink Day” to rally employees and members around Breast Cancer Awareness.  But this year, the credit union said, the effort “got personal.”

BETTENDORF, Iowa – Ascentra Credit Union is honoring former CEO Paul Lensmeyer by establishing the Ascentra Credit Union Foundation, a fund within the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend.

FERNDALE Michigan – Credit Union ONE is celebrating its new Traverse City branch. The new facility, located at 1407 S. Division Street, replaces the current Credit Union ONE branch at the intersection of Fourteenth Street and Veterans Drive.

UKIAH, Calif. – Redwood Credit Union has donated a projector and automatic screen to the Arbor Youth Resource Center in Ukiah to help them with educational and recreational programs for transition-age youth.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. –Genisys Credit Union sponsored the Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County for their Women’s Build project, with GCU staff participating. 

FERNDALE, Michigan – Credit Union ONE has contriubted $1,000 to help defray operational costs of the Ferndale High School “Golden Eagle” Marching Band. 

GREENSBORO, N.C. – More than 1,200 members of State Employees’ Credit Union came here for SECU’s Annual Membership Meeting at the Koury Convention Center. 

INNER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. – To mark National Co-op Month, the Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) held a “Community Connected” press event here to recognize the impact cooperative organizations make in communities throughout Minnesota.

PARSIPPANY, N.J.--Garden Savings FCU has  provided Children’s Specialized Hospital with a donation of $4,500.
