MARSHFIELD, Wis.–Central City Credit Union is changing its name: effective June 1, it will become Simplicity Credit Union. The name change follows an “updated approach” toward what members want in a financial partner, according to CEO Pat Wesenberg.

PORTLAND, Ore.—While NCUA has announced broad new MBL powers for credit unions, more than half of all CUs said they anticipate making minor to no changes in their current member business lending policies.

ELGIN, Ill. – Lending Solutions Inc. (LSI) announced it has signed 12 new credit union clients for its collections outsourcing and payment reminder collections programs. Among the CUs signing on are Meijer Credit Union in Michigan, Steel Valley FCU in Ohio, Heritage Grove FCU in Oregon, Fitzsimons Community FCU in Colorado, and Coors Credit Union in Colorado.

BROOKFIELD, Wis.–Fiserv has announced that 25 credit unions, with approximately $2.5 billion in assets and 250,000 members collectively, have committed to its CUnify account processing platform. Five of these credit unions are new core processing clients of Fiserv, and will be converting to CUnify in 2016, the company said.
