YUBA CITY, Calif.—Sierra Central Credit Union and First U.S. Community Credit Union have announced plans to merge, creating a Northern California credit union with more than $2 billion in assets, 114,000 members and 23 branches, pending regulatory and member approvals.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah—Deseret First Credit Union has named Annalesa Vernon president and CEO, effective Jan. 4, 2027, succeeding Shane London, who is retiring after 46 years with the credit union, including 14 years as its chief executive.
