KYIV, Ukraine–The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed a law updating the country’s legal framework governing the operations of credit unions, laying the “foundation for a level playing field for credit unions in the financial services market,” according to the World Council of Credit Unions.

FREDERICK, Md.–While the roots of much of the U.S. CU community took hold in single companies or professions, a new study shows just how credit unions will have to continue to adjust as the nature of employment changes this year and beyond.
