BILLINGS, Mont.—Valley Federal Credit Union here was the site of synchronized wedding ceremony for nine couples who were married at 10:11 a.m. on 12/13/14. That was the last time that time and date will line-up during this century.

The mass wedding ceremony was organized by Wendy Means, who owns Uniquely You Wedding Planning here. Means said all the couples considered the date and time to be “good luck.”

Means, who has a “reverend” title through the Universal Life Church, said the idea for this year’s event struck her last year when there was a rush to get married on 11/12/13.

The wedding ceremony involved five straight and four gay couples who paid $75 in advance and $100 at the door to be married. Married couples were able to renew their vows for $25.

The credit union facility, chosen because it has an attractive interior, was decorated with a “Winter Whimsical” theme by Means. A number of other local vendors donated their services, including caterers and photographers.
