IRVINE, Calif.– In August, 6.6% of mortgages were delinquent by at least 30 days or more, including those in foreclosure, a 2.9-percentage point increase in the overall delinquency rate compared with August 2019, according to the latest CoreLogic Loan Performance Insights report.

WASHINGTON–A bill that would remove federal penalties on marijuana and, if signed into law remove a major risk for some credit unions, will receive a vote on the House floor sometime in December, according to Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD).  The bill would also clear the records of some people convicted of cannabis-related crimes.

WASHINGTON—The Department of Justice (DOJ) has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Visa to block its acquisition of fintech company Plaid. Plaid helps consumers connect their financial accounts to thousands of financial apps, including the popular payment system Venmo and banking and investment services like Betterment and Chime.
