LIVONIA, Mich. – Zeal Credit Union has awarded scholarships totaling $14,000 to seven 2015 graduating high school seniors in metro Detroit.
Now in its 21st year, the scholarship program honors longtime credit union volunteers and recognizes outstanding students who are Zeal Credit Union members. More than $200,000 has been awarded since the program began.
Scholarship recipients and their parents were honored at Zeal Credit Union’s 60th annual membership meeting in March.
“It’s always a pleasure to meet these outstanding high school seniors and to help them further their education,” said Lisa Fawcett, vice president of marketing for Zeal Credit Union. “It’s a highlight of our annual meeting.”
