WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis.–During its Convention and Expo here, the Wisconsin CU League conducted a service project during which participants help assemble snack packs for hungry kids in the Wisconsin Dells School District. More than 1,010 packs were assembled. In addition, participants donated $268 in cash, plus the rest of the food that The League and convention-goers donated, for a total of 1,260 bags. That is enough to send snacks home with students for a month, the Wisconsin league reported.
Separately, the league board elected its new Executive Committee members, including: Chair: Kim Youngblood, FOCUS Credit Union, Wauwatosa
- Vice Chair: Val Mindak, Park City Credit Union, Merrill
- Secretary: Jack Peplinski, Altra Federal Credit Union, Onalaska
- Treasurer: Tony Klockow, Kohler Credit Union, Kohler
