Wisconsin CUL Announces Management Changes

PEWAUKEE, Wis.–The Wisconsin CU League has announced a number of promotions and job title changes. They include:

Sarah Wainscott, Vice President of Government Affairs

Sarah leads The League's state and federal government affairs activities from the Credit Union House in Madison. With a wealth of experience in lobbying, working with Activists and developing grassroots and fundraising efforts, Sarah directs our political and legislative advocacy, which strongly influence regulatory outcome for Wisconsin credit unions.

Jennifer Esser, Vice President of Professional Development & Communications

Jennifer has directed, developed and coordinated the more than 200 training programs each year that train 90% of all Wisconsin credit unions and help more than 2,000 front line, back office and executive staff and directors learn to perform their roles. She is also the lead League liaison for credit union chapters around the state. In her new role, in addition to her professional development duties, she will oversee our communication and marketing functions.

Josh Roberts, Vice President of System Collaboration & Development

Josh is responsible for promoting credit union service and outreach, fostering opportunities for credit union growth and leading The League’s free development program for Wisconsin's young credit union professionals, the YP Network. Josh also consults with credit unions statewide on budgets, accounting issues, strategic and board planning and any number of operational issues affecting their success.

Paul Guttormsson, Vice President of Legal & Compliance

Paul works with The League’s Regulatory Advocacy Council to draft regulatory comment letters on behalf of credit unions, helping to shape regulations that affect credit union operations, income and member service. He also supervises The W.C.U.L. Services Corp.’s Compliance Specialist Program, which deploys shared employees among Wisconsin credit unions to provide hands-on support for their compliance efforts. Paul also supports The Legal Affairs team with telephone and email assistance to credit unions on compliance issues as well as research and analysis to develop The League’s ii releases. He’s also a frequent presenter for League compliance roundtables and webinars.

Tara Krejcarek, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

Tara spearheads the W.C.U.L. Services Corp., helping Wisconsin credit unions meet their business objectives by identifying business partners that can help them. She is often on the road visiting credit unions and looking for ways to help them improve efficiency, save money and better serve their members through effective business relationships.
