PASADENA, Calif.–Wescom Credit Union delivered $10,000 worth of Togo’s Sandwiches to medical workers at the Anaheim Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. The credit union’s vintage 1934 truck – a nod to its founding year - was on-site for the delivery, which fed more than 1,300 day and nightshift workers.
“Wescom and our nearly 200,000 members are honored to support the Orange County community during this difficult time,” stated Melissa Pederson, SVP-administration. “We have a long-standing tradition of giving back to the communities we serve, and wanted to share some #WescomKindness with those who are working hard to keep Orange County safe and healthy. We are grateful to be able to acknowledge the Anaheim Kaiser Permanente staff for all they do and also support the local Anaheim Togo’s.”
Last month, Wescom provided $45,000 in grant support to four nonprofit Southern California food banks – one of which was Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
