Wescom Bike Team Raises Funds to Fight MS

PASADENA, Calif.– Wescom Credit Union presented a check to Bike MS for $215,179, representing the total funds raised Team Wescom raised for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society this year. headquarters on November 21, 2019. The funds raised will help drive MS research and life-changing breakthroughs.

Last month, a team of 72 employees and members of Wescom participated in Bike MS: Bay to Bay, an annual cycling ride along the California coastline from Orange County to San Diego that raises money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This marked Wescom’s 13th year of participation in the charity ride.

"We're proud to be the number one fundraising team this year out of a total of 163 participating teams," said Ashley White, VP-partner development for Wescom. "This is just one of the many ways that Wescom gives back to the communities we serve, and we look forward to riding again next year." 

“We at the National MS Society are so impressed at how Wescom continues to step up its support of this event and its employees. Wescom invites friends, family members, and clients to join in the efforts to be the top team, while also supporting each rider's fundraising efforts and hosting training opportunities for all Bike MS; Bay to Bay riders. They go above and beyond in every way, and are truly making a difference in the fight against MS,” added Sean Pantellere, Ride Director, Bike MS.
