Webster House Receives Grant From St. Mary's Bank

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Webster House is the recipient of a $2,100 Community Outreach Grant from St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union.

The funds helped support the Webster House Summer Program, which provides a positive outlet for active teens through day trips to local and regional destinations. Three camper scholarships were created thanks to the support from St. Mary’s Bank.

The Webster House provides a safe, secure place for youth who are being abused or neglected in their home, young people who are a community problem or homeless because of circumstances beyond their control. Children who are admitted are referred by juvenile court or a social service agency, and the Webster House offers a balanced living surrounding, individual and group counseling, and a positive plan for the future.

“St. Mary’s Bank has long been a supporter of the Webster House,” said Bob DesMeules, Chief Financial Officer of St. Mary’s Bank and member of The Webster House Board of Directors. “Through its programs and its support of young people in need, the Webster House is literally changing lives for the better.”
