MENOMONIE, Wis.–WESTconsin Credit Union has donated $45,000 to food banks to help support their mission of ending hunger.
“At WESTconsin, we made a promise to be there for the communities we serve over 80 years ago,” said Stephanie Rasmussen, chief experience officer. “Today, we are honored to stand up and support our neighbors and communities in hopes this helps those in need and provide inspiration to others in reminding everyone that kindness counts.”
People Helping People is the founding philosophy of credit unions and has withstood the test of time for over 150 years. WESTconsin will be dispersing payments in the next few days in an effort to quickly provide support, the credit union said.
