LAKE MARY, Fla.–VyStar Credit Union has opened a new branch in Lake Mary, Fla. The Lake Mary branch is VyStar’s 69th full-service branch and joins its Oviedo and Sanford branches as its third location in Seminole County, Florida.
“Our new Lake Mary branch continues our exciting growth in Central Florida and enables us to better support our members and community partners who live in this beautiful city,” said VyStar EVP/Chief Operations Officer Chad Meadows. “We look forward to making meaningful connections in our branch and in the community as we live out our purpose to Do Good.”
VyStar has more than 15 branches across Central Florida with plans to open an additional 25 branches between Central Florida and Georgia in the next several years. That includes Central Florida branches that are scheduled to open later this year in Altamonte Springs and Winter Park, as well as Georgia branches that are scheduled to open in Savannah/Wilmington Island, Brunswick and several in the Atlanta metro area. VyStar opened its first Georgia branch in Thomasville in 2022.
Additionally, in support of its purpose to Do Good, VyStar said it works with nonprofit organizations across the communities it serves. This includes the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, Orlando Solar Bears hockey team and Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
VyStar is making a $5,000 donation to the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools to celebrate the opening of its Lake Mary branch.
The Lake Mary branch features VyStar’s digital-forward design concept, which improves how employees connect with members. The concept includes interactive touchscreen kiosks that provide financial tools and allow members to quickly explore the latest products, services and rates.
