JACKSONVILLE, Fla.— VyStar Credit Union has hired Jim Edwards as its Chief Financial Officer.
As CFO, Edward provides the strategic and financial leadership of balance sheet management, treasury, budgeting, acquisitions, analytics, and economic and financial forecasting to ensure VyStar’s long-term stability.
Edwards, who has more than 30 years of financial services leadership experience, joins VyStar from Sharonview Federal Credit Union, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Chartway Federal Credit Union and spent 13 years in strategic leadership roles with BB&T’s Mortgage Division. He also served in various financial leadership roles in Jacksonville between 1996 and 2003. Edwards is a Certified Public Accountant.
