MOLINE, Ill.—Vibrant Credit Union has absorbed via merger in Metropolis, Ill.-based Electric Energy, Inc. Employees Credit Union. The $616-million Vibrant Credit Union said it officially completed its merger with the almost $2-million EEI Employees CU in early December.
"We are beyond excited to share our technology and products with the Metropolis community,” Matt McCombs, president and CEO of Vibrant CU, said. “Creating growth like this allows Vibrant the opportunity to better serve our current members, along with new members, as more resources come available to the credit union.”
EEI Employees CU’s single office in Metropolis became part of Vibrant CU and remains open as a Vibrant location for all Vibrant members.
