OSHKOSH, Wis.– Verve, a Credit Union has committed $50,000 to match donations and provide assistance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Community foundations and COVID-19 relief funds provide much needed financial resources to individuals, families and businesses to support the compassionate nonprofit organizations that provide various services vital to maintaining strong, robust communities,” said President and CEO Kevin J. Ralofsky. “Now more than ever we need to come together as a community to support the efforts of our nonprofits, so their services can continue during these trying times and into the future. We know there are many people who are looking for ways to give and we hope this match helps their donation go even further.”
The $50,000 in matching donations will be split between the communities Verve serves. To have their donations matched, community members can give directly to one of five community foundations or funds available through the CU’s online giving tools.
In addition to its matching donation program for community foundations and dedicated funds, Verve has developed a Let’s All Do This program to provide a variety of relief options for individuals and businesses.
