BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont Federal Credit Union has been named a Top 5 Lender for Volume by the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) in 2022.
Vermont Federal was recognized in combination with four other mortgage lending partners in Vermont.
“As a credit union, this aligns perfectly with our goal of helping Vermonters make their way into first-time homeownership”, said Tim Daniska, chief lending officer at Vermont Federal Credit Union. “We are also proud that in 2023 we are one of only a handful of lenders participating in the VHFA First Generation Homebuyer program, which provides a $15,000 grant to eligible borrowers on top of other assistance that can be provided by VHFA.”
Vermont Federal Credit Union has received the award for the past five consecutive years.
The $950-million VFCU has more than 50,000 members.
