VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. --Ventura County Credit Union has named Dianne Clapp vice president of risk management.
Clapp is now responsible for assessing and mitigating risks and establishing policies and procedures to support the credit union’s continued growth and success. Clapp brings more than three decades of risk management experience to her role at VCCU. Most recently, she worked as an executive consultant for a variety of fintech companies, credit unions and rating agencies. She has also held risk management positions with Bank of the West, Citigroup and GE Capital.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Dianne on our team,” said Linda Rossi, VCCU’s president and CEO. “She is a decisive and collaborative leader with a strong track record of successfully managing risk and helping financial institutions reach their goals. She is already proving to be a tremendous asset to VCCU.”
Clapp holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA in quantitative analysis. She is an American Bankers Association Certified Enterprise Risk Professional and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
