VENTURA, Calif. — Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) received the Chairman’s Award of Excellence at the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce 2017 Annual Meeting and Installation of Directors. Recipients of the award were chosen for their positive impact on the business community in the past year.
The Annual Meeting and Installation of Directors luncheon was held at the Residence Inn Oxnard River Ridge, at which time recipients were presented the award by the retiring chair of the board, Fred Ferro.
“We are so pleased to be recognized for this honor through the Chamber,” said Joseph Schroeder, president and CEO of VCCU. “VCCU strives daily to provide the community with accessible resources and support, in addition to actively pursuing opportunities for community engagement in which we can make a difference. We feel very privileged to be presented with this award.”
VCCU was one of seven businesses being highlighted by the Chamber of Commerce for their important contributions toward the betterment of the Oxnard business community.
