VENTURA, Calif.— Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) was named Ventura County’s best financial institution for the sixth consecutive year by the readers of the Ventura County Reporter. This recognition was announced in the Ventura County Reporter’s 30th annual “Best of Ventura County” issue.
The VC Reporter’s Best of Ventura County issue recognizes the region’s favorite local businesses in a variety of categories, from shopping and beauty to recreation and entertainment. Community members cast more than 200,000 votes to determine this year’s winners.
“We have considered Ventura County our home since we were founded here more than 65 years ago, and providing our members and community with above-and-beyond service is our number one goal,” said Joe Schroeder, president and CEO. “We are thrilled and honored to have received this recognition six years in a row because it means we are continuing to deliver Ventura County the quality it deserves.”
In addition to its Best of Ventura County achievement, VCCU also earned recognition as a recipient of the Ventura County Star’s 20th annual Reader’s Choice Awards in the bank/credit union category this year. In this same select, the credit union was also named a county favorite in the employer, mortgage services and stock brokerage categories.
