MODESTO, Calif.–Staff from Valley First Credit Union donated blankets for the animals at the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter. Recently all 155 Valley First staff came together for an Annual Team Day event, during which one of the activities for the day was making fleece tie blankets for shelter animals.
The event was spearheaded by Courtnay Lynch, vice president of human resources and training for VFCU. Lynch will soon be serving on the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter Advisory Committee.
“We are ecstatic that the blankets we made will be going home with a cat or dog when it is adopted to help bring comfort to our fur friends in their new homes,” said Lynch.
