VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. — Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) has once again been recognized on the VC Reporter’s annual “Best of Ventura County” list in the financial institutions category. This is VCCU’s 11th consecutive year earning the No. 1 spot on the list.
The VC Reporter’s Best of Ventura County list honors readers’ favorite local businesses. Leading up to the release of the list, readers vote in a variety of categories spanning the service industry, shopping, dining, entertainment, recreation and beyond.
“At VCCU, we take pride in going above and beyond to help our members and our community,” said VCCU’s president and CEO, Linda Rossi. “It’s an honor to have received this recognition for so many years in a row because it means we are consistently living up to the standards and goals we set for ourselves. We look forward to continuing to offer nothing but the best to those we serve.”
The credit union said it participates in more than 500 community events each year and frequently partners with local nonprofit organizations to support their causes. In 2015, VCCU established The Foundation of VCCU to further its charitable giving efforts. The Foundation provides financial education and assistance to support the underserved, preservation and beautification of the environment, and health and well-being of the region.
