ANN ARBOR, Mich.–The University of Michigan Credit Union (UMCU) has been named one of the 2020 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation by the National Association for Business Resources. This is UMCU’s fourth award from Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, with honors also bestowed in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For program identifies and honors organizations that deliver impressive human resource practices and an outstanding commitment to their employees. The national program recognized 183 winning organizations out of 1,700 nominations.
Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication and shared vision, employee enrichment, engagement and retention, work-life balance, employee education and development, diversity and inclusion, employee achievement and recognition, and community initiatives. UMCU submitted comprehensive business practices to highlight areas including community outreach, employee enrichment, and health and wellness programs.
