AUSTIN, Texas-United Heritage Credit Union has teamed up with the Long Center for the Performing Arts to help Austin families take advantage of hotter days with cool, free activities. As sponsor of this year’s All Summer Long event series, United Heritage is inviting Austinites to enjoy local food, entertainment and outdoor fun at events through August.
All Summer Long, which kicked off in June, features the best of local entertainment, with events such as Trailer Food Tuesday, showcasing Austin’s favorite food trucks; Rhythm on Stage, an instructional dance series in partnership with Ballet Austin; and Sound & Cinema, which pairs live music with classic films in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse and Do512.
“United Heritage has been a part of Austin’s community for nearly 60 years,” said Buddy Schroeder, United Heritage president and CEO. “We live and work alongside Austin’s families, so our partnership with the Long Center is a natural fit to celebrate the best of the city we love.”
The credit union reported that one recent event, Bubblepalooza!, brought together more than 8,000 people to enjoy food and fun with bubbles on the Long Center lawn. Thousands more have attended the programming already in progress, and United Heritage hopes to see more Austin faces at the remaining events.
