AUSTIN, Texas – The United Heritage Credit Union Community Scholarship Committee presented two $5,000 scholarships to Allison Agthe and Navya Janga at the 2019 Member Appreciation events. The two Austin-area high school seniors were selected based on their outstanding community service, extracurricular activities, academic performance and demonstrated commitment to the credit union philosophy of People Helping People.
The Scholarship Committee said it considered a great number of applications before selecting Agthe and Janga as the 2019 United Heritage Community Scholarship recipients.
“These young women embody the qualities the Scholarship Committee and the Charity Foundation seek when making their selections,” United Heritage Charity Foundation Chairman May Lofgreen said. “We are proud to recognize the accomplishments of these two exceptional students.”
Agthe plans to attend University of Texas at Austin. Janga plans to attend the University of Pennsylvania.
