KNOXVILLE, Tenn. The Tennessee District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has honored UT Federal Credit Union (UTFCU) as a top SBA lender for federal fiscal year 2017. UTFCU was awarded the Credit Union of the Year in Tennessee for top volume.
UTFCU haslead the state in this category in years past, also bringing home this award in fiscal years 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. For UTFCU, it is about embracing the credit union philosophy of People Helping People, which includes working with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Tennessee office to help businesses in the area achieve success and develop their companies, the credit union said.
“It is exciting to help entrepreneurs start or continue growing their businesses,” said Chief Lending Officer/Senior Vice President Mike Clonce. “Being recognized by the SBA shows how hard UTFCU works to help businesses in our area create jobs, enhance their services, and further their goals.”
UTFCU currently offers SBA 7(a), SBA Express, SBA 504, and Export Express loans.
