TAMPA, Fla.– USF Federal Credit Union has announced a new partnership with AdventHealth West Florida to support local hospitals and help people in our community stay healthy, including a $150,000 donation.
“We are pleased to support all the valiant efforts that AdventHealth doctors, nurses and staff take to keep our communities whole,” said USF FCU President and CEO Richard J. Skaggs. “This is just one of many efforts the credit union takes to live up to our mission of giving back to the areas we serve.”
USF FCU’s donation over the next two years will total $150,000 to support life-changing programs and initiatives throughout the local AdventHealth hospitals.
The donation includes funding for:
- Foundation West Florida Events: $25,000
- AdventHealth Tampa: $100,000
- AdventHealth Carrollwood: $25,000
USF FCU dollars support the Taneja Center for Surgery as well as help replace a 17-year old MRI machine at the AdventHealth facility in Carrollwood. Additionally, the donation will also be used to distribute meals to AdventHealth Tampa and AdventHealth Carrollwood frontline team members.
