ANN ARBOR, Mich.– The University of Michigan Credit Union (UMCU) has been named a 2021 Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation by the National Association for Business Resources for the fifth consecutive year.
UMCU was also bestowed honors as a 2021 Best and Brightest Company to Work For in Metro Detroit.
The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For recognizes and gives honors to organizations who are dedicated to excellent human resources practices, commitment to their employees, and creating an outstanding work environment.
Organizations are evaluated based on the following categories: diversity and inclusion, communication and shared vision, employee enrichment, engagement and retention, work-life balance, employee education and development, employee achievement and recognition, and community initiatives. UMCU presented business practices that highlight the important areas of community engagement, employee enrichment, and work-life balance.
