WASHINGTON--The Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) announced that two Minnesotans were inducted into the 2024 Credit Union House Hall of Leaders in Washington.
The inductees from Minnesota are Julia Havens, President/CEO of Riverview Credit Union, and Dan Stoltz, CEO of Blaze Credit Union.
Havens has led Riverview Credit Union, a nearly $8 million credit union in South Saint Paul, Minnesota, since 1999. In her time in the credit union movement, she has been a tireless champion for small credit unions, advocating for policies and services that would help them thrive in an era of industry consolidation. She is widely recognized as an industry leader, having been elected to the Board of the Minnesota Credit Union Network by her peers and serving with distinction for 12 years.
“Congratulations to Julia for being recognized for her commitment to ensuring credit unions of all sizes can thrive and I am thankful for her service to the Minnesota Credit Union Network Board of Directors,” said MnCUN President & CEO Mara Humphrey.
Stoltz is the CEO of Blaze Credit Union, a nearly $4 billion credit union based in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. Dan has been very active with the Minnesota Credit Union Network, having been named Outstanding Professional of the Year in 2015, sitting on the Political Involvement Committee, and serving on the Board for 12 years, including as Chair from 2016-2019. Dan has received several prestigious awards in recent years for his leadership, including being named a Most Admired CEO by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and selected as a 2018 Regional Finalist for the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
“Dan has brought his considerable leadership skills to advancing credit unions and I congratulate him on the honor of being inducted into the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders,” Humphrey said.
