Truliant Cuts Ribbon On New North Charlotte Branch

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Truliant Federal Credit Union held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the credit union’s newest full-service branch location in north Charlotte’s Mallard Creek community.

The 2,600-square-foot Mallard Creek location is inside the newly completed section of Charlotte’s I-485 loop at 3024 B Prosperity Church Road in Charlotte. It is part of an expansion that will give Truliant a total of 14 Member Financial Centers in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region by the end of 2016.

The 63-year-old credit union has had a presence in Charlotte for nearly three decades and is now dotting its I-485 corridor and interior with new locations.

Truliant FCU said the Member Financial Centers reflect its new “Life Improvedbrand with increased amenities, an open design, Wi-Fi access and teller pods that remove barriers to improve member interactions. The Mallard Creek branch includes a walk-up Smart ATM that distributes multi-denominational amounts and accepts deposits without envelopes.

In addition, the Mallard Creek Member Financial Center includes ancillary space that serves as a training hub for Truliant employees. Mallard Creek is Truliant’s tenth Charlotte-Mecklenburg location and brings its total area footprint to 29 branches.

“Who is there to help consumers make choices that truly improve their lives? That is what Truliant stands for and we’re making good on that promise by having our carefully selected and highly trained staff conveniently located where you live, work, worship and play. Mallard Creek is one of those wonderful neighborhoods where we bring our unique offering directly to you,” said Marc Schaefer, president and CEO of Truliant.

The location is being managed by Jeff Strickland.
