FORT WASHINGTON, Penn. —TruMark Financial Credit Union, which earlier created a nursing home project to recognize the healthcare professionals who tirelessly care for their patients, sent trays of breakfast goodies from local bakeries and eateries to nursing facilities in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
The credit union said the initiative is two-fold. While acknowledging essential employees, the credit union also is supporting small businesses that are struggling during the pandemic. More than 750 essential workers enjoyed the breakfast treats.
“Our heroes on the front lines care for our loved ones daily while family members still cannot visit them. We salute their courage, dedication, and resilience and are eternally grateful,” said TruMark Financial CEO Richard F. Stipa.
