SCARBOROUGH, Maine–In addition to being a significant corporate sponsor of the Tri For A Cure and the Maine Cancer Foundation, Town & Country FCU’s 2019 Tri Team collectively raised nearly $12,000 in support of the event.
The 2019 Tri For A Cure was held at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, and featured more than a thousand participants including eight staffers from Town & Country FCU. Three of the credit union’s participants competed in this year’s Tri as soloists, meaning they competed in all three events.
“We feel very strongly about supporting the work that the Maine Cancer Foundation does, and are pleased to support events, such as Tri For A Cure. We are particularly proud of the eight employees who took part in this year’s Tri on behalf of the credit union. This is part of our continued commitment to helping to make a difference in our community,” remarked David Libby, President and CEO of Town & Country FCU. Overall, the 2019 Tri For A Cure raised a record-setting $2 million to support the Maine Cancer Foundation.
