ST. PAUL, Minn.–TopLine FCU is now offering WINcentive Savings accounts to its members. The program, available through the Minnesota CU Network, offers members the chance to win monthly, quarterly and annual prizes.
WINcentive Savings incentivizes consumers to save by offering risk-free rewards. Prizes range from $100 to $5,000 and account holders qualify for up to four chances per month for each $25 increase in their month over month savings balance.
The Minnesota Credit Union Network noted it also recently launched a re-designed website, wincentivesavings.org, to celebrate winners and connect more credit unions and their members to the program.
Quarterly Winners Announced
Members of Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, Fulda Area Credit Union and North Star Credit Union won $1,000 by participating in the WINcentive program.
In the prize drawing for the first quarter of 2020, members of Minnesota-based credit unions participating in WINcentive were eligible for one of five $1,000 prizes and one of 45 $100 monthly prizes. Due to additions in the statewide prize pool, each participating credit union will also have a guaranteed $100 winner each quarter.
According to the MnCUN, through March 2020, WINcentive in Minnesota has reached over 8,000 accounts opened with over $7.2 million in total saved by members of credit unions throughout the state. To date, participating members have an average saved balance of over $900.
