LAKEWOOD, Colo.--Back Office Outsourcing CUSO Aux (formerly CU Service Network) has hired Tim Tibbals as VP of Data Analytics.
He will be managing their new data analytics solution for credit unions--Cuery.
Tibbals is a data analytics veteran within the financial services community. He specializes in Applications and Enterprise Architecture with an emphasis in financial services and IT strategy. He has worked directly with users of small to Fortune 500 corporations and not-for-profits to manage, design, build and support enterprise applications through the development lifecycle. This experience makes him a stellar fit for managing a data analytics platform for credit unions. Cuery Data Analytics for Credit Unions is a revolutionary data service that provides all the services of owning a data warehouse and having a data analytics team at a shared services cost, the company said.
"For over two years, Aux intensely studied and surveyed what credit unions want from a data analytics provider. In June of 2020, Aux launched a comprehensive data analytics solution that is both affordable and scalable to a credit union’s size while being comprehensive in its capabilities," the company said.
Doug Burke, President/CEO of Aux, explains, “Tim is a great addition to the Aux team and his extensive knowledge will help us achieve our Cuery data analytics goals. He has years of data analytics experience working in billion-dollar credit unions, as an entrepreneur and as a consultant to Aux for the last 18 months. Tim is able to roll up his sleeves and jump into the mix with our vendor, Information Builders.”
Examples of Tibbals' varied and thorough experience include: Organizational data analytics strategies, Microsoft Azure deployments, credit union industry standards architecture (CUFX), CCU’s DNA core upgrade, BCU’s business intelligence infrastructure, development of Just-in-Time Manufacturing applications for Arthur Andersen clients, electronic power generation & marine power point-of-sales programs for Caterpillar engineers, websites for financial companies and manufacturing companies, and EDI-driven freight payment solutions for Baxter & Allegiance Healthcare. He has an MBA with high honors at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bradley University
