SALT LAKE CITY–As the 2018-19 Utah Jazz regular season comes to a close, Mountain America Credit Union presented Huntsman Cancer Foundation with a $56,000 check as part of the Mountain America 3-point shot donation.
Mountain America donated $50 for every three-point basket made by the Utah Jazz with an additional $50 donation for every game-changing shot.
Mountain America’s leadership team presented the $56,000 check to David Huntsman, who represented the Huntsman family, during halftime of a Utah Jazz home game.
“On behalf of the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and the Huntsman family, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Mountain America Credit Union for this gift of $56,000,” said Susan Sheehan, president and chief operating officer at Huntsman Cancer Foundation. “We share your commitment to people helping people and are grateful for your ongoing support in our mission to eradicate cancer in our lifetime. This donation will help fund the transformational research being conducted at Huntsman Cancer Institute and we sincerely value this important community partnership.”
Over the past six years, Mountain America has donated over $350,000 to Huntsman Cancer Foundation.
