FAIRFIELD, Ohio– Telhio Credit Union has officially re-opened its community room at the Fairfield Village Green location after being closed due to COVID-19. This state-of-the-art community room is free of charge for use by local organizations, the credit union said.
The community room, which holds approximately 30 people, can be reserved by appointment for meetings, networking events, community groups, and more. The room includes audio/visual capability and an adjacent outdoor patio space. The room is available during the evenings, after banking hours, and will be used for financial education classes and training throughout the day.
“Providing a space to educate our community and share ideas helps us further our commitment to putting ‘people over profit’” said Leslie Bumgarner, president and CEO of Telhio Credit Union. “We welcome community organizations to come utilize this beautiful space to serve their missions, and ultimately make the community as a whole even better.”
The community room at Fairfield is the first of its kind for Telhio Credit Union, the CU said, adding it also plans to offer community rooms at its new branches in West Chester, opening late summer, and Westerville, opening in the fall.
