HAUPPAUGUE, N.Y.– Teachers Federal Credit Union has awarded six Long Island high school seniors with $1,000 scholarships to help fund their higher education.
“Congratulations to this year’s six scholarship winners,” said TFCU CEO Robert G. Allen. “As a locally grown credit union, we proudly support the next generation of future Long Island leaders. We know these six students will continue to put their best foot forward as they advance to the next level of their education. We hope they will find new ways through their studies to positively impact Long Island.”
This year TFCU had more than 550 submissions. Mr. Allen adds, “Best of luck and much success to the six recipients and all of the scholarship applicants as they pursue their higher education.”
