HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—Teachers Federal Credit Union has completed a major renovation of its headquarters, unveiling a redesigned workplace that includes collaborative workspaces, an innovation lab, upgraded technology infrastructure and new employee amenities as the $9.9-billion credit union continues to expand nationwide.
The credit union said the project is intended to support employee engagement, innovation and long-term growth. According to Teachers FCU President and CEO Brad Calhoun, the renovation reflects the organization's commitment to investing in its workforce while creating an environment designed to help employees thrive and better serve members.
The updated headquarters features collaborative work areas, a dedicated Innovation Lab, a fitness center, social and recreation spaces, enhanced security systems and upgraded meeting technology. Teachers FCU said the improvements are designed to foster teamwork, accelerate new ideas and support a modern, digital-first workplace.
The renovation is part of the credit union’s broader transformation strategy. With an open charter and expanding national footprint, Teachers FCU said it has been investing in technology modernization, digital capabilities and workplace improvements aimed at attracting and retaining talent while positioning the organization for continued growth.
