TRUE Community CU Awards Scholarships to 8 Students

JACKSON, Mich.—TRUE Community Credit Union has awarded $1,000 scholarships to eight local students as part of its 2026 scholarship program.

The credit union said the scholarships were open to 2026 high school graduates, as well as adults over age 23 who have a high school diploma or GED and are pursuing or returning to complete a degree.

“We are so proud to celebrate our 2026 scholarship recipients and the bright futures ahead of them,” said Sarah Ermatinger, chief community impact officer at TRUECCU. “Supporting their education is one way we fulfill our promise to help these students write a life story that stretches beyond their imagination.”

The 2026 recipients are Anna M., Napoleon High School; Christopher F., Michigan Center High School; Chloee T., Western High School; Claire S., Napoleon High School; Georgia T., Jackson High School; Jonathan S., Northwest High School; Julia S., Concord High School; and Zoey B., Springport High School. TRUECCU said students may apply for the next round of scholarships beginning in January 2027.
