LAKE JACKSON, Texas--Stephanie Sherrodd, President & Chief Executive Officer of TDECU, was honored with the University of Houston Alumni Association’s distinctive Chair’s Award at their 65th Annual Awards Gala hosted in April.
The UH Alumni Association’s Chair’s Award recognizes and honors non-alumni, who have provided extraordinary and consistent volunteer support to the University of Houston.
On behalf of TDECU, Sherrodd has worked closely with the University and the alumni association to provide support, financial education and resources to further the school’s mission of offering nationally competitive and internationally recognized opportunities for learning, discovery and engagement to a diverse population of students in a real-world setting. She also serves on the University of Houston’s Board of Visitors, a leadership group of private sector opinion leaders and University advocates that serves to advance the University of Houston and improve the University’s image in Houston and throughout the region.
