HOUSTON–TDECU – Your Credit Union announced that Lucilla Henderson, Vice President of Community and Business Engagement, has been selected as the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s (HHCC) 2017 Hispanic Female Executive of the Year.
On November 18, the HHCC held their Annual Awards Gala in Houston, where the award was formally presented. “It is truly an honor to be recognized and represent TDECU in this way,” said Henderson. “The HHCC is making an impact as the nationally represented voice of the Hispanic Community, and it is a pleasure to be a part of that.”
The HHCC is the leading regional advocate for economic and civic interests among the Hispanic business community, and hosts their Annual Awards Gala in which they select six individuals out of hundreds of nominees who are leaders in both their community and their company. “The HHCC has been leading the fight for economic and social progress for the past four decades,” said Dr. Murillo, President and CEO of the HHCC, “and the Annual Awards Gala is our opportunity to recognize and celebrate the Hispanic leaders in Houston who make this economic progress possible.”
