LAKE JACKSON, Texas– TDECU – Your Credit Union teamed up with Schulman’s Movie Bowle Grille and Bay City Community Development Corp. to bring the long-anticipated event venue to the city. Featuring an eight-screen movie theatre, 12-lane bowling alley and a full-service restaurant, the facility lays claim to “the largest game room on the Gulf Coast.”
The Grand Opening event gave Bay City residents the opportunity to join in the festivities of this great new addition to the city.

It’s a great moment for myself and my team at TDECU Business Services to know we played a part in welcoming the Shulman’s Movie Bowl Grille family to Bay City – an addition that will surely make a positive impact on the community,” notes TDECU Vice President – Business and Commercial Services, Todd Lucas.
Separately, TDECU was pleased to once again sponsor one of the largest fundraising events in Texas – the Pasadena Strawberry Festival. This year’s event raised money to help fund scholarships for local high school and college students and provide books for college libraries. The three-day festival plays host to the World’s Largest Strawberry Shortcake, the Sweating for Berries Fun Run, and a cook-off competition, as well as a parade, nightly concert series, carnival rides and an adventure zone for kids.
In addition to the great entertainment from the TDECU Stage, festival-goers had the opportunity to stop by the TDECU booth to take part in interactive games for a chance to win some great prizes. Employees from local TDECU Member Centers were also in attendance to share information about the credit union, while spending time with their friends and neighbors in the community.
